Tool For After Festival – Melbourne – Tool For After Festival

FUTURE has CHANGED

OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS, THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY HAS BEEN USING THE TERM “ANTHROPOCENE” TO INDICATE CHANGE THAT INVOLVES THE WHOLE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH WE SAPIENS HAVE DEVELOPED, AND WHICH WE HAVE MODIFIED. IT IS A WORD THAT INDICATES THE IMPACT OF HUMAN BEINGS ON THE PLANET, AND EFFECTIVELY GIVES VOICE TO THE TRUTHS, FEARS, DOUBTS, HOPES AND AWARENESS-RAISING THAT ARE UNAVOIDABLE IN THESE TIMES.

The past we remember is over, everything around us is different from before, the present has changed, and even the future is no longer what it used to be. Suddenly, the rules and scenarios we have used so far have become obsolete.

The now is made up of new and urgent questions: What can we do? What will be the tools for after? What are the scenarios to be expected? What are the topics to be addressed?
